Another Weekend

Well last weekend we made a trip to Hovenweep National Park. It was fun with lots of pueblo dwellings. It was overcast which was nice because it would have been extremely hot otherwise. We even got caught in a summer rain which was awesome I love when it rains in the summer. But this is Hovenweep we did a 2 mile hike around the canyon to see all the dwellings.

We had alot of fun and I took a ton of pictures but I wont bore you all with them. We had Brennen in Wy's backpack so Wy got to pack an extra 30 pounds around on this hike. Needless to say all of us were tired except Brennen who watched the whole thing.

We also went to Holly which is down the road of Hovenweep and still a part of it. This was really cool because we were even closer to the dwellings there and we didn't have to walk as far so Bren got to carry himself.

This week was also a week of first for us, Teegan got to play in his first T-Ball game. It went how most first games go, bored in the outfield, followed by swinging around in circles and sitting down. He did pretty well hitting the ball off the Tee but he thought he needed to run from first to third, who really needs second base anyways. He is starting to get the hang of it and claims to be having alot of fun.

This weekend we really didn't do much, Teegan said he was getting tired of going to the desert. So we went up the mountain instead, the boys fished and we cooked hot dogs and had smores, which was my favorite part! what is summer without smores!!! Anyways we only got one fish which was ok with me and I sunk to my ankle in mud, Teegan his knees and Brennen got so dirty and sticky all over its hard to describe, but according to wyatt thats how its suppose to go when you fish. He himself wasn't dirty. Have a great week!
