The boys were looking at the elephant!
This week was really uneventful until Friday when we took the boys to the circus, I think Teegan waited all day for this and it felt like years to him. It was alot of fun, we weren't sure how Brennen would do but as long as something was going on, and it was he was just fine. He did eat alot of popcorn though that that was just fine with him. Before the show you can give your kids rides on some of the animals, it wasn't to bad but we decided to let Teegan pick one and only do that instead of all of them. He picked the camel, Wy and I said we would have picked the elephant but Teegan said it was just to big for him. Between you and me that camel was not small. Because Brennen is still to little to do the animals we let him ride the kiddie train with Teegan, he got to ring the bell he thought he was pretty neat stuff.
Saturday, we celebrated Mother's Day, Wyatt took us to the Edge of the Cedars Museum in Blanding Ut which is 20 Minutes from us. Because he works for the BLM they let us in for free which was really nice. We got to see some really cool pottery, arrowheads, baskets, and what the puebloians could do with the Yucca plant. Teegan got a badge saying he is a Jr archaeologist. Behind the museum is some pit house ruins, and a Kiva (which was used for religious purposes) we were able to climb down into the kiva, the boys really enjoyed it and it was nice to get a better idea of what Wy does all day. True most of the stuff he works with is not in glass cases yet. We followed up the museum with lunch at this diner in blanding that was really good. It was a great day and I was glad to be surrounded by my favorite boys!

So I guess this is a big deal in this area, it is a feather apron but what is cool is that it is made from the scarlet feathers of the Macaw. Which is only found in Mexico and Central America this proves that there was trade going on.

Wyatt is explaining the way it was built and what has been restored and what is original.
Excited to be down in the kiva.
